Scuola secondaria L.Orsini – Imola
Location: Imola
Project: Andrea Dal Fiume

The L.Orsini middle school in Imola was inaugurated in March 2009 and was the first low energy consumption Italian school. For this project, products with advanced technology were requested to meet specific requirements, including adaptability, recycling and compatibility with clean energy sources. The FILE range was chosen by Architect Andrea Dal Fiume because, as he stated in an interview, "Lucifero's recessed products are non-invasive and distinguish themselves from the rest because of the serene nature of the fittings." Used in common areas such as reception area, corridors and stairs, the fixtures were recessed into plasterboard ceilings, with sound absorbing functions and with a lighting control system that can be remotely controlled.
